Yes, there are others who have inspired me, and you can see that with one look at the logo. It's heavily influenced by a Jim Davidson design. Indeed, I blatently ripped him off, which is why I'm taking the time to mention it. My only change is to make it the simple nautical sailing flag code for the letter "I" -- for individual. There's only one reason to make it less complex than Jim's design, and that's this: You can buy existing nautical sailing flag letter "I"s from dozens of online retailers. They're cheap. They come in sticker form. You can get flags the size of Delaware or just a bumper sticker. If you've got a black crayon and a yellow crayon, you can draw it. Maybe just a yellow crayon. In short, you don't need me to show your support for the ZAP, assuming you're inclined to do so. Just Google it, and you can make your own arrangements. If I know I'm inspired by you or am repeating something you've said, I'll try to make note of it. To my knowledge, no one else has put down quite what I plan to put down. If I end up duplicating something you've come up with, I suppose great minds think alike. If you contact me, I'll try to make a note of some kind. |
